Good Riddance, 2020!
Although 2021 got off to a rocky start, I don't think I'm alone in feeling some glimmer of hope that 2021 will be a better year. There is still much to be done to "heal the soul of our country", as President Biden puts it, and to make this country a more equitable place for all; but I detect some light at the end of the tunnel. For those small business owners out there, the new year should include some rescue funds in addition to the lending opportunities already available (read more about EIDL loans below). And for those entrepreneurs who have used our collective "down time" to grow big plans, we welcome your help in adding jobs and rebuilding the economy!
Best wishes for 2021!

Celebrating the Res Nova Law Team
This month we celebrate a key team member, paralegal Carol Kreager and Cumulus Legal. Carol co-founded Cumulus Legal in 2011, after many years working as a paralegal at large law firms in San Francisco and Portland. With over 25 years of experience, Carol and her experienced colleagues are able to provide contract paralegal and legal secretary services to Res Nova Law on an as needed basis and without the overhead required of full time employees. As noted on their website:
"We carefully considered the contemporary economic and environmental realities facing businesses. By incorporating these principles, solo practitioners, every size of law firm, and corporate counsel can maximize productivity, organization, and revenues, all while lowering overhead. Our concept is to bring flexible and affordable technology, organization, and efficiency to firms that otherwise would not make economic sense."
We are very grateful to have Carol and Cumulus Legal on our team!
